Mixing masonry paint

Hi. I am painting the concrete posts on my fence, and want to go for a dark grey to match the panels. I already have some black Sandtex masonry paint. Can I mix normal white emulsion (1 part white emulsion to 3 parts Sandtex) to create the colour I want? I am figuring that at <25% it wouldn't affect the performance of the paint much.
As an aside, I think the posts were previously just painted with white emulsion, and they seem OK.
