Average House Prices UK

Does anyone know a quick way to find the average percentage increase of houses in a certain area/town over the last two years please? I’ve tried Zoopla and Rightmove but can only seem to find the percentage for the last 12 months. Other sites (including Gov.uk) seem to have national data but you can’t drill down to a particular town.
Thanks.
Thanks.

You won't be able to find anywhere for a particular town. The largest house price indices go as far as region, but to include it at "town" level would be a nightmare.

You're not navigating Zoopla properly.
Click on "house prices" on the blue bar across the top, pump in a postcode, street name or place/town name in the box adjacent to the word "search" and the default view is "12 months".
But if you click on the white box where "12 months" shows, a drop down menu appears with six options from 3 months to 20 years. Admittedly, 2 years isn't one so you'll have to make do with 12 months or 5 years. Or look at actual sold prices , re-ordered by date?
(unless of course you're using a mobile phone, in which case the screen format may differ; go to the library and use a real computer?)0
