Bay window curtain pole

I have a bay window which is proving a nightmare to fit for a curtain pole!
I have found lots of websites which offer made to measure etc etc, but what I really want is someone to come to the house and measure and then go away and make the pole and fit it?
Does anyone know of anywhere that does this?
I'm at a loss!

Does it have to be a wooden/metal curtain pole?
In one of our bay windows (curved wall type) we have a standard plastic curtain rail bent in a curve and attached to the ceiling of the bay window recess. And the other bay window we have is much the same but with a string pull plastic rail.
