I just wanted to a) see what the people wanted and b) see if those affected would respect the democratic will of the people
I note that alongside the expected derisory comments there is the usual "let's drown out debate by submitting reams of pointless posts with photo's to take up even more space" attempt to drown out sensible comments.
Also - I'm highly amused by the way that a resident "knuckle-dragger" describes a majority of posters thus.
Still, life must be difficult without the continued support of [STRIKE]Citizen Smith[/STRIKE] Toastie.0 -
I don't have a problem with either poster.
The thread is quite dreary though. Can't it be sent to discussion time to see if the guys there can breathe new life into it?0 -

I only started the last one since there was a mass boycott of any future Scottish thread threatened. I was massively unpopular even then.. but my Vow to turn it into a thread of unfettered SNP support, cheerleading and Salmond and Saltire pictures didn't work. Since people still posted actual real politics and economics stuff on the new one as well.It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

It creates a bit of welcome spacing between Tricky and Jock's self-aggrandizing monologues.
Sometimes I do love the banter :rotfl:
I knew this thread would be good, taking a break from the constant bile.
I'll join in with the picture theme...0 -
