Athena ANPR Over stayer Ignore or Pay

Hi all. I have managed to gets another parking ticket at Lidl. I have used this forum before and won my appeal with Popla. However in this case the ppc is athena anpr which is not BPA but IPC. I overstayed by 2 hours.(lomg story) am i right to ignore this parking ticket or do.something about it. Are athena anpr ones that take people to court, debt collectors etc. I have rang lidl and they said they will try get it cancelled. It was an anpr ticket and ntk has arrived within 7 days.

To ignore or not to ignore.... that is the question

Thanks.guys.

Waiting for.coupon guys response now :-)

    Obviously neither!
Search this forum for Athena, send the email to the CEO of Lidl and watch them cancel it.

    I'm a Coupon lady, BTW!

If you know about Coupon-mad then you would have read her signature that tells you not to ignore. The Sticky thread for NEWBIES tells you the same thing, and also tells you to send the IPC template you will find there.

In parallel, as already mentioned send a snotogramme to the CEO of Lidl telling him you will become an ex customer if this isn't cancelled. Attach a copy of your receipt, or redacted bank/CC statement.

Come on, you were here only a few months ago when you beat Perk Watch at PoPLA. Surely you can remember that ignoring is bad advice, and how to navigate the NEWBIES thread this time.

Why would you even ask that question on this forum when there are thousands of threads crammed with advice which you have chosen to ignore???

Because i was in the wrong by overstaying by 2 hours. Popla wont help as they are bpa only..only step is to tell lidl customer services and hope.they cancel. As athena wont accept my appeal either way

Yes, you will find it linked in a thread at the end of 'Successful complaints about PPCs' in the NEWBIES thread. Only read that 'successful complaints' thread from the end (most recent) of course, because it's long and started ages ago. You will find a recent one about Athena where the OP gave the email address.

That's what the sticky thread is at the top for, to bookmark useful stuff so we don't have to spout/remember it all every time.
