Hi,
I bought my wife a photography course voucher (via PayPal) with the proviso that there was no time limit on when she could redeem the course (subject to the photographer being available):
Hi Robert
Payment received thank-you. Please can I have an address to send the voucher to?
Kind regards
Richard

Hi Richard,
I've just sent the money via paypal.

Any problems or more info needed, please get in contact with me.
Cheers,
Rob.

Hi Richard,
Yes, all received OK. I'll probably order in the next couple of days.
Just to confirm - there is no time limit as to when it can be redeemed
and the only proviso is that you must have availability when she decides
she wants to book it.
Cheers,
Rob.
Now I realise it's quite sometime ago (Dec 2015 xmas present!) but when she has come to enquire about the course it appears the website is no longer up and running and all emails are being ignored (NOT bounced back).
My question - is this money effectively lost now if the business has 'gone south', or do you think I would have any luck with a reclaim from PayPal (in light of the timescales involved)?
TIA
Rob.

You'll have no luck with Paypal.
I think that phrase "subject to the photographer being available" covers your situation quite well.0
