Home workshop (garden)

I have a fair selection of DIY tools, fairly large and expensive.
I have a wooden leanto / garden room on the rear of the property which extends over the back door.
Looking at turning this into a workshop room, Currently its mentioned on the insurance but classed as a garden building like a shed, with a fairly low contents limit.
If i move everything into it as planned then it will far exceed that value. Anyone know if this will be an issue?
Anyone know if the class be changed from garden building to other? Will i need to upgrade the security? Will they class it as the final exit door? Currenty it just uses heavy duty slide bolts
Anyone got any experience of a similar setup?
Thanks

It will still be classed as an outbuilding, therefore the limit will still apply.
You will need to adhere to the security requirements on your policy - it will be classed as a final exit door to that building.0 -
Final exit to that building? Is that to the house or the leanto?
If the leanto was to become my final exit for the house is it still
an outbuilding?
Any experience on what locks would be acceptable?
I know its going to be a bit hit and miss on the answers depending on the actual insurer, but i just need some advance knowledge so i know what to do before i shift all my stuff and start shopping for cover.
