Cancelling and renewing car insurance?

If they provide cover then they charge pro-rata for the days on cover. They don't just give cover away for free, even retrospectively.

Sorry I dont know if at the right place...Can anyone help me? I took out a policy for car insurance with Adrian Flux on the 28th March and on the 08th April, I asked for cancellation. They are now saying that Im out of the 14 day cooling off period which am not and they are charging over £200 for cancellation. Any advice?

You confirmed you had read and understood the FIG as part of your signup, which outlines the structure of the boards and other matters of basic etiquette like not hijacking threads! So there is no excuse for saying you can't find the right place.

The best advice would be to start your own thread in this or another appropriate forum, like Insurance.
