Parking Charge Notice - Missing Notification

I would be very grateful for some advice please - I received a Final Reminder letter through the Post saying 'We wrote to you advising that the above Parking Charge Notice had been issued to the above vehicle and that it remained unpaid.' 'Therefore £100.00 is now required for payment within 14 days. etc Then goes on to threaten debt recovery, Court action etc.

The date of the Notice is 27th March 2017, and the date of the contravention is 4th March 2017.

Should I contact the parking company and state, that as I haven't received any prior correspondence/evidence etc, I intend to ignore their 'Final Reminder?' Thanks in advance.

Appeal anyway, today, using the template in the NEWBIES thread (IPC or BPA member version depending on the PPC).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Thanks Coupon-mad :)
  • Just wondering if I send them a cheque for say £25 as full and final settlement - would that get them off my back?!

Nope, why would they accept that when they want to scam £100 out of you?

No, of course not. they would realise they had hooked a clueless victim and would send more letters.

Have you appealed yet, using the pre-written template in the NEWBIES thread at the top? Which PPC is it?
