Massive Saving

So Esure renewal policy comes through...nearly £700...so straight to Aviva as I have another car insured with them, and life insurance, and home insurance....the same blooming price.
Headed back to Direct Line (been over 12 months since I had like 4 policies with them)....same insurance coming in at just £340! Bang what a massive saving!
Direct Line asked me for a specific valuation on the car, which I gave. The other two made me pick form a drop down, for example, £1000 to £10,000...no wonder the insurance was way higher using a system like that.
Just thought I should post this in the event it can help others.

Been with Direct Line for years, every year when I get my renewal quote I check if I can get it cheaper elsewhere, I then phone DL and tell them the cheapest I can get it and they will price match usually to within a few pounds.Headed back to Direct Line (been over 12 months since I had like 4 policies with them)....same insurance coming in at just £340! Also just changed my car last week, phoned them up and no additional charges for changes to policy.0 -
It is possible both of you have the best deal available. But Tyler - if you only check 2 other companies - that is unlikely.
Follow the steps or even the first 2 or 3 MSE propose to find car insurance and you will be more certain of what is available.I am just thinking out loud - nothing I say should be relied upon!
I do however reserve the right to be correct by accident.0
