Sorry to bump the thread to ask a stupid question, but I haven't entered this one previous years. If I open up say 20 links on different tabs and leave the pages to load, presumably the hummingbirds won't disappear by the time I have made a cup of coffee and come back (if they were ever there of course)?0

No such thing as a stupid question, the stupid thing is remaining ignorant...
I've heard someone say if they're not quick enough the birds disappear, but not tried it as more than 6 tabs will give my aging lappy a hissy fit!Worse things will have happened in the world today..."The only thing that really matters, it to love and to be loved."0 -
I got distracted yesterday and it did disappear (on the daily clue page) but I started again and it was there.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Competition Time, Site Feedback and Marriage, Relationships and Families boards. They do disappear eventually - in the time it takes them to flit across the screen - so it's definitely possible to miss one. (With the daily clues, I assume you could re-load the page. But a random one would be lost.)
(On a related note, previously I've found opening multiple tabs to be the best way to find a hummingbird. However, it's proving far less reliable this time!)0 -
