posted parking ticket
I have been sent a 'Parking Charge Notice' and wanted to get some input on a few things; I have read the notes in this forum before asking the questions, but can't find notes specifically on this ticket.
I received it via post, and it is from 'Premier Park' with a 'BPA' badge on the notice.
The ticket states I outstayed a 3 hour limit by half an hour, so says mu duration was 3:30 exactly. The only thing is, I'm sure I came back within the 3 hours as I was conscious of it, and putting 3:30 on the ticket does sound like an awfully round number.
Either way, the notes in the 'read first' forum post cover BPA windscreen tickets but can't see anything about posted charge notices.
The golden question is, do I need to pay it, or can it safely be ignored? I have received one in the past which I ignored but I don't believe it had BPA on it, so not sure if this changes anything?
Thanks!

Read them again, you will find the answer to that, and much much more is contained in the stickies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

See this section in the NEWBIES thread and the standard first appeal template for BPA members.
''Postal PCN from a BPA or IPC member ? (i.e. with no mention of any windscreen ticket at all):''PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks - I've checked the post under that section, however it only seems to cover if you made 2 trips (double dipped) which I didn't.
It then goes on to give a draft letter I can send, but I'm not sure if this is under that topic, and if I should just pay (I am given a few days grace that I get a discount if I pay within and I don't want to miss that deadline in order to send a letter only to find I legally have to pay the higher amount!)0 -

Only a judge can order you to pay these speculative invoices, the "discount' is a scam to make you pay them without a fuss so they can bank your cash easily with little effort.

On 19th Dec 2016 I paid to park in a car park. I was FOUR MINUTES over the ticket time, and returned to find a parking ticket on my car by private firm. I used the template on Martins web site to appeal. I admit it was over the allocated time to appeal because it was over the Christmas period.
Today my mother has received a letter to notify me of court proceedings for this parking charge. We can not understand how they have got her address and sent the letter to her as she lived upcountry and I live in the south west. Nothing of mine is registered at her address so why have they sent a letter to her address? The parking charge they wanted originally £100. £25 per minute!!!! Now they want £150. before 14th March 2017. Does anyone know what I can do?0 -

You need to start your own thread.
