From your original question, I have a Flexi account and I transfer £1000 in one day and then back out the next and I get the £10.38 interest per month on the £2500.
I leave mine for about 5 minutes. The time it takes to log in, then withdraw the £1000+ interest.

I too have £2500 in a Flex direct, I move £1000 into the account on 3rd of the month and out again on the 5th. of the month. Great, it looks after itself and interest is added monthly. I have not yet decided what to do with the accumulated interest however.

I have a question: After 12 months (Oct. 2017) can I upgrade my Flex account to Flex direct to get the same deal for the next 12 months?

That seems to be the one thing that employees I consulted agreed was possible....assuming the 5% is still available, of course. (Every other 'perk' seems to be reducing or disappearing altogether).
