Switching before/while DD instruction in progress?

Hi,

I'm looking to submit a switch request, however do I need to wait for a previously submitted DD instruction to be fully setup to the account being switched before putting in the switch?

I'm not sure at what point the DD's get sent over, whether this is a few days before the switch or on the day. I just seem to remember once having been sent a list of DD's to be transferred, and this being prior to the actual switch date.

If your switch incentive relies on DDs being active, I would wait until this new one at least shows online in your old account.

I agree. I had a problem with switching to co-op a few weeks ago, where one of my dd was was not active or paid out. Co-op would not give me switching bonus so I just waited for a new dd at coop to be set up, then transferred account to n/wide and then transferred back to coop to get bonus.

Silly game but......

Thanks, will wait until fully set up. I just was thinking that, since there is a direct debit guarantee and a switching guarantee, there must be something in the process to ensure that even DD's set up at late notice are transferred correctly - but best play it safe and hope the offer is still open!
