Hi all, currently trying to set up home insurance for when i exchange contracts, my solicitor has said the mortgage company (Nationwide) has stipulated that the insurance must be Index linked.
ive tried Tesco and Sainsburys bank now and both have said they are not index linked?
Does anyone know which ones are?

    You've only tried 2, run a quote through on one of the comparison sites and see who offers what cover...

    Call up the solicitors and double check.
    Most lenders are happy with blanket cover (ie £500k buildings cover), which is fairly normal.
