Salmon Cut Beef Steak

I was given 4 salmon cut beef steaks the other day, about 240 g each. I want to cook two for diner today but don't really know how.

I know if it were ne joint it would be 20 min 500 g and 20 over. But as steaks I'm not to sure. I intend to serve it with a fresh salad

Any suggestions?

Kevin

Best cooked very hot and fast, a minute each side and then rested. It needs to be cooked rare or medium rare at a push or it goes tough. If you don't like rare meat it needs long and slow. Verty tasty either way:)

It made for an excellent lean and melting stew for me a while back. :)

I'm a medium fan, my girlfriend a well done fan . Any ideas: oven cooked , seasoned, massaged with butter, wrap in tin foil and pop in the oven say 110 c. How long?

I which case I'd treat like braising steak so at that temp a couple of hours minimum and check. Tbh I'd give an hour or so at 150/160 C. Unfortunately it's one of those cuts that doesn't do medium well ......
