Hi Everyone, thanks for reading my post.
I have promissed a good freind of mine that I would help him out with a holiday dilema for him, and his family, but Im drawing a bit of a blank and wondered if anyone could help me.
Basically he has a (4 year old) daughter who is having a complicated and risky operation in late Nov, and is keen to take her on holiday for a 3-4 day break before then..
It would be for 3 adults (mother in law) one 4 year old and an infant at 4 months. We were looking at things like Butlins and managed to find a 3 day break over fireworks weekend for £300 which seemed good.
But does anyone know of anywhere else that has good offers on etc. We really need somewhere with plenty of activities for the young ones, and ideally somewhere they can chill out in the evenings..
Any ideas??
Many thanks for your help,

At this time of year Centerparcs is a good choice as lots of indoor things as well as being in lovely settings. It really is a special holiday. Where eklse do you go where you have rabbits and squirrels outside your window and fab swimming pool, restaurants, play areas etc to go to.
They have some good offers on at this time of year.

I just priced Whinfell in Cumbria and it is coming up as £349 for
Comfort Accommodation
£349.00
Comfort Lodge 2 bed Terraced
Comfort 2 Bedroom Terraced Lodge Double x 1 / Twin x 1
Sleeps up to 4 people
Much better than Butlins in my opinion, have done both. Found Butlins can have dirty chalets and the staff aren't really bothered.Money SPENDING Expert0 -
Butlins or Centre Parks is a matter of opinion.
I've visited both and the children really do prefer the entertainment at Butlins particularly on a cold and dark evening. There is also the swimming pool, fair, shows, beach etc. during the day to keep them occupied. Centre Parks is good when it is nice weather, light nights and you can get out, however when its cold, dark and raining I feel that Butlins has more to offer children and I know where the children I've taken have preferred (ages between 3 and 16).
I don't know what accommodation others have had at Butlins but we always go in at least Silver Accommodation (Skegness), they have always been clean and to a good standard. The Gold Accommodation is really good.0 -
If you are looking for something to entertain the little one, then I would say Butlins. But then I am biased ... xGone ... or have I?0

Caravans on November with just a panel heater- no thanks, especially if little one needs an op-that suggests she needs to be cossetted a bit more.
How about a lodge park that does evening entertainment? IT depends on where you are, and how far they want to travel?Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19
