I knew I had a Halifax account years ago that I paid £10 a month for but couldn't remember many details. Followed Martins instructions and gave it a go. 3 Days later got a call. I did have the account nearly 10 years ago, only had it for 18 months though. Got £180 back from this plus 8% interest. Total came to £309!! I would definitely recommend that everyone tries it, even if you can't remember all the details.
