O.P. is this a N&P Regular Family eSaver?

If it is, Ive had confirmation this is still paying 3.25%, passed my yearly anniversary date in April.

Hence I'm still running with mine and still adding £250 each month.

Yes it's a Family Regular Saver its 0.25 % plus 3% bonus if no more than one withdrawal a year. My plan matured yesterday on a balance of £4890 I got £127 interest (inc bonus) Nationwide Flexclusive saver states 5% (though this is not fixed) would equate approx £160 interest on balance of £5000

If all accounts are full, yes. If they're not full then it doesn't matter which day.

Just thought if I keep a balance of £2500 in there for the year earning 5% it won't matter when the £1000 goes in and out during the month as long as £1000 goes in I've met the requirements

I would be loathed to close it if I were you as N&P wont be offering the like again and YBS may honour this. You definitely have a few months of this to exploit at worst.

Why not use your withdrawal to move a large balance into a 'high' paying current account and feed into both the Nationwide and N&P regular savers.

Once the N&P transition is clearer on what they are doing regarding savings then revisit?

True it's not a bad rate. I will use my one withdrawal to withdraw bulk of it to reinvest but carry on with monthly deposit into there and see what happens over the next few months with the savings accounts transferring to Yorkshire building society

That's my opinion too. It doesn't need to be £1000 all at once either if moving it in bits would suit your cashflows better, but you do want to end each day with at least £2500 in the account.
