Hi,
I am hoping for some assistance from EON on this, I have spoke to a few staff over the phone and the information is either limited or not applicable.
I have an economy 18 plan with EON and cannot determine how best to configure things in order to use the least amount of energy.
I have an apartment with all electric systems.
My meter has 3 different readings:
Stored Heat
Night
Day
I would like help to find out what items run of each rate and the specific times.
Appliances: ?
Sockets: ?
Heating: ?
Hot Water: ?
Happy to temporarily post my account number for the specifics.

Good morning Lersince1991 and welcome to the forum.
Thank you spiro.
I'm sorry Lersince1991 that we haven't been much help when you've called us, but I can certainly help you here. I would say not to post your account number on the open forum though please.
Economy 18 meters were designed mainly for all electric properties with particular types of heating. This includes things like storage heaters, underfloor heating and red ring boilers. They give 18 hours of cheaper off peak electricity during every 24 hour period for heating and hot water. To do this, one meter will be wired directly into the heating/hot water circuits at your home. The second meter records all other usage and, here, there’s a period where all electricity is charged at cheaper off peak rates.
As spiro has said, we need to make sure you know the off peak times for you meter as these will depend not only on the area that you live, but also on the specific type of meter that you have.
I'll be more than happy to help and give you the off peak times. If you could send your account number and full name and address to me at WebForumAdvisors@eonenergy.com I'll get it sorted for you and email you back.
Thank you
