Poor Jewelry repair

Hi,

My other half has had her engagement ring repaired at a local jewelers. It has come back repaired badly and the shop have refused her a refund.

Does anyone know if we have any form of redress.

Have you thought about asking the repairer to put things right?

Yes but he made such a mess I don't trust him. Also he has refused any form of refund

Whether you trust him or not is immaterial.
As it stands, you have to give him the chance to put right the problem and if you refuse him this option then there isn't really anything you will be able to do at a later stage.
