Au Pair Insurance

My daughter is off to France from the middle of April to the middle of May as an Au Pair (And possibly returning there again middle of June to end of July.) She is also going on holiday with the family to Italy for a week during her month's stay.
I am having real difficulty figuring out what Insurance cover she needs and what companies provide cover as I know normal travel insurance isn't always suitable.
LV (I have home insurance with them) said their travel insurance would cover her as an Au Pair but there would be no personal liability cover but I think that is probably something she does need.
The other obvious cover is Medical. She has an EHIC card, but I know that is not enough. The family are registering her and paying for the social security scheme in France
Does anyone have any experience of companies that cover Au Pairs? She is not expected to drive at all by the way.
As she is thinking of going back if they like her and she likes them I was thinking of getting cover from now till end July when she is coming away on holiday with us and is then off to Uni in September. It would probably work out cheaper than having to buy another single trip policy later.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated
