Hi
Myself and 2mates are going to watch England play in November and are also looking for a bit of a night out afterwards around the Covent Garden/Soho area. Can anyone recommend a Travel Lodge convenient for both of these area's preferably with parking and a reasonable price one with the travel lodges super saver offers would be nice. Obviously it's gonna have to be a taxi back to the hotel in the early hours as the tube would be shut.
I have found a Travel lodge on City road nr to Finsbury park but am not sure haw much it would cost to get a taxi to there from Covent Garden. Also this one has no parking so would need to sort that out separately but then it starts to get expensive. The room in this one is only £49 on the super saver offer.
Thanks,
Pete.

look at the travellodge website, there is a travellodge 5/10 mins walk from covent garden...
nb: bear in mind covent garden underground is shut in the evenings due to refurbishment, so you have to get off at leicester squaresmile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

Hi Robnye,
The only problem with if we stayed in the Covent Garden one is that we would pay well over £100 inc the parking and congestion charge. To be honest we want to keep the costs down to a minimum if possible.I'll get me coat!0 -
oops, sorry i thought you wanted one near covent garden, have you looked at the possible £26 offer ones further out, then its just plus the cost of the travel card (or use an oyster card - mx paid is up to £4.60 for the whole day)smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

Think we are gonna go for the City Rd TL it is £49 and although still in congestion charge area wont be more than £80 all in so between 3 of us isnt too bad. Do you or anyone else know how far this is from Covent Garden/Soho?
Obviously more than a short walk with a belly full of beer but is should'nt cost us a fortune in a cab should it?
Cheers,
