Garmin 310XT: NOTHING HAPPENING

Hi

I have had a Garmin 310XT for about 18 months. When I turn it on it goes to the Garmin first screen and then nothing. It does not move onto the searching for a satellite page. I have turned it on at a number of different locations and still nothing happens. It does not go past the main screen. I tried the start button to see if that would move it on but still nothing happens.

Can anyone suggest what I can do to sort it out or is it just done.

I had a problem Nuvi and the solution to mine was plug into PC Usb port and hold down the power button on it for 10-15 secs apparently that is a soft reset
