gas / electric costs

moved into a small flat about 5 yrs ago , been with ebigo , no standing charge , as the flat had pre pay meters , ebigo has split with SSE and I seem to have been moved

electric , no standing charge , 17.38 per unit

gas no standing charge 5.20 per unit

just been informed of a price DROP !!!

now (wiith sse )

electric , no standing charge , 13.82 per unit

gas no standing charge 3.28 per unit

estimations

last year / this year

electric £367.50 this year £292

gas £178.20 this year £112


can I actually do any better than above?

    I got the same letter about the electric :)
    In my opinion, I would stick with SSE at those prices.

    yup , hard work trying to find a quote online , especially pre pay , every one is considerably more expensive

    You should not have been moved supplier against your wishes, indeed without you expressly confirming your wish to move supplier.
    (If you have been, contact your old supplier and ask for them to invoke an Erroneous Transfer process)

    I'm not sure if you have been moved supplier. What you may simply be saying is that the prices of your tariff have changed ... as they can do with any variable tariff.

    As regards to what is the best deal for you, consult a comparison site.
