You poor lad, I really feel for you. And I can imagine the stress and upset this can cause.
My advice is to let go. It's very difficult to successfully get your money back in these situations. You may benefit from drawing a line underneath it all.
It's a cliche, but money is just money and comes and goes all our lives. It can't buy health or class, the stuff that matters.
It's not worth making you unwell.0 -
I would have said you can borrow my tyre pump when you repay the money you owe me. In all seriousness I think you need to let this go. He obviously does not intend to repay you the money, his parents seem to have washed their hands of any responsibility too so your only option is to learn the hard lesson of never lending friends money in the future.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Hi, i would get the dates of months unpaid, bill him. Remove everying of his out of your house, thus boxing things up. Then treat him the way he treats you.
This IMO would cut stress your levels also stop thinking about this for a while then decide what to do next.
At the end of the day you need to do whats best for you0
