Hi everyone, welcome newbies and congratulations to everyone else on so much stash movement!

Sunny_money, I also hate cleaning travel sized bottles, last time's scent never seems to quite leave. I have wondered about putting them in the dishwasher but haven't dared try.

ValM all of my lipsticks are subtle variations on the same dusty rose colour . . . although at least I know what I like :rotfl:

I seem to have nothing at all at the spluttering stage (although steady progress on some LHJs). Quite a few INs:

Bourjois liquid lipsticks, one from the new range and one from the old, unnecessary but lovely
Bourjois setting powder, my faithful Rimmel Stay Matte is settling in my fine lines these days :(
2x suncream, replacing last year's, TA
Summer glow body lotion - I am probably never going to use this but i like to think I am now the sort of person who might . . . we'll see

UU: Body Shop Peppermint foot soak. I've had this since at least 2003 and it had lost its smell. PRCP.

I know, I keep looking for the perfect nude lipstick!
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    UU's:

3 nearly finished easy wins to get me started:

Vaseline – Advanced Repair body lotion – 400ml - My OH says this makes my skin way too tacky, which it does, and has banned me from using it lol. Unfortunately I have 2 more 200ml bottles that my OH bought me from a shop closing down clearance among other things before she realised she hated it lol. I will have to use these on my feet, hands, elbows and legs after shaving only. I will start using Garnier Intensive 7 Days Hydrating Lotion for normal skin with aloe vera 400ml.

John Frieda – Thickening Blow Dry lotion – 125ml - NBI gift from a friend. I have fine hair and am hopeless at styling, so products have to do the work for me or it's a waste of time. This didn't give any root lift but did give body to mid/ends. WNBA. I will start using David Babaii Volcanic Ash Root Amplifier 200ml - getting old.

Simple – Foaming Cleanser – 150ml - I like the foaming application. It's OK but feels pretty basic. I will start using Garnier Micellar Cleansing Gel Wash for Combination & Sensitive skin 200ml.

Yesterday 90% of my makeup used was on my PP list / products I haven't used for ages. :D

Neutrogena CC cream light – 50ml – OH's reject - it was the most terrible product I have ever seen, also it was too fair for her skin. We were going to TA but I thought I'd at least try it on me first. It wasn't as bad on me but still sticky and took effort to blend it in. The shade was OK for me. I would only use this on the weekend when I have time to apply it carefully and have full natural light. This will be a LHJ / TA if I get too annoyed with it.

    UU
    C. O. Bigelow Apothecaries Lip Balm 3ml - I've had this for a while and lasted a bit of time despite the small size. This was an airline freebie but WNB as it wasn't anything special. I have tonnes of lip balm in the stash so glad to use one up.
T-Zone 6 Clear Out Face Pore Strips - I used up this today. The strips really didn't do anything for me. WNBA but might try different brands for the same kind of product.

5 INs from shopping yesterday - 1 shampoo and 1 face mask from Holland & Barrett (on buy one get one half price) and 3 bits of 70% reduced make-up in Debenhams - a lip gloss, bronzer and waterproof blush. The lip gloss was a good colour and I thought the waterproof blush would do well in the summer.

I should use up my night cream tonight so I'll hopefully get in some more UU before the end of the month.

Latest NBI, and rather impressed with this one: Neutrogena T/Gel 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner. It's been a while since I used a 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner.
I used to love the way they saved time when I was in a tearing hurry, dashing out for the bus at 7 am. Now I work from home it's less of an issue.

Things have really slowed down but hey ho. I have three UUs but they are miniscule:-

3 10ml tube of L'occitane Lavender hand cream. Do love this fragrance. Won't repurchsae for a while though as I have a Liz Earle and CowShed full sized and then quite a few 10ml Loccitane tubes to go at.

5 2 x sample sachets of L'occitane Almont Concentrate Milk Used the Almond oil in the shower this morning so thought I'd pair it with this to use them up.

    Updated PP list:-

LUSH Prince - there is a very thin scrape of this product left.

Full size Original Nail Envy - again very little left but need to use this as treatment as my nails feel paper thin after soaking them in acetone and buffing like crazy to remove the gel lacquer.

Mini Pink Nail Envy - will move onto this once the bottle above has gone.

Nuxe facial oil - very little left

Nivea Pearl deodorant - maybe a week's worth left.

15ml Elemis PCMC - will need cutting open soon

LUSH Cup o Coffee - may depot what's left of this if I get a chance to get to Lush at the weekend so that I can give them 5 pots.

Boots Extracts Mango body scrub - only just opened but they don't last long.

No 7 facial wipes - probably about 5 wipes left.

Australian Bodycare Tea Tree Skin Wash - Think this will see me to the end of the month.

[STRIKE] L'Occitane lavender hand cream mini tube[/STRIKE]

Mandara Spa body butter full size - only just started.

11 no 7 wipes Emma finished these so I've pulled another part opened pack from stash.

12 Nuxe facial oil lovely but not sur I need one.

  • Hi everyone,

I have a couple of UUs from a very decadent bath:

    Lush Ylang Song Bath Bomb
    Lush Cloak of Invisibility
WBA loved both of these together we're a glorious floral bath. I'm not sure Ylang Song behaved quite like it meant to though. In the middle was like a bright blue bit full of petals which I loved but it kind of just sank to the bottom of the bath rather than fizzed.

UU7 - L'Or!al fibrology air shampoo 400ml - WBA I think, didn't notice that it particularly made my hair look thicker but was nice enough.

IN1 - OGX thick and full biotin and Collagen shampoo - to replace the above.

Hope everyone's well. Have had to put the heating on again this evening, feels chilly!
  • used up toleraine moisturizer. It is fine, it did not cause any reaction but is expensive for a plain moisturizer.
