I have another uu
Max Factor Facefinity 3 in 1 Foundation Ivory 30ml - WMBA but this colour is very pale so may go one shade up but for now I have a ton of foundation to get through.
Hi Dolly84. I'm currently using this in Warm Almond 45. I have very fair skin but wanted some warmth and it suits me just fine so I'm sure you'd also be safe with this shade.0 -
Welcome sunny_money . Always good to start somewhere!
Houseplant, how about you do something at home? It is probably stress and tiredness didn't help. I find if I change my diet, it will help. I cut dairy immensely and my hormonal spots are calmer.
Most facials won't help immediately. You will need 2 - 3 of them to go deeper.ally.0 -

Nice to have some new names joining us!
I'm on the whole managing to be rptetty good at not overbuying at the moment, but I now find it really hard to make decisions!
My skin is really awful at the moment I've had more spots than I've had in ages and it looks really dull, with some painful spots on neck. Not sure if it's bad products, diet, stress or tiredness or a mix of all of the above! I have my first day off in over two full weeks tomorrow so that probably hasn't helped. I'm feeling quite low tonight, I think because I've finally stopped but also feeling a bit sad I've spent so much time working, although the money will be a help and I hope to treat myself to something nice. I'd love a facial but not sure whether too when skin is so bad. Will it be a waste? Can anyone recommend one?
Anyway back to the task at hand, I have two UU from a decadent bath last night.
- Rose Bomb WBA I really loved this cheered me up with the lovely pink water and yellow petals inside
- Furze bath melt WPNBA I think there are other melts I like better. I liked the look of it and it was moisturising and smelled interesting but nothing too special or memorable.
Keep having to resist doing a kitchen order! I kind of want to!
You're not alone Houseplant. I've felt out of sorts since returning from my holiday. Im really not settling back into work and finding it more stressful than usual. I've had a couple of facials in the past but didn't see or feel any benefit!
Try to relax whilst you are off. On Wednesday night last week I went to see Beauty and the Beast with a Emma and it really helped to watch something so charming p, really relaxed me.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. My spreadsheet will be most useful when holiday packing, because I tend to buy new travel sized products and treat myself to something new to take, without bothering to go through my stash first. I have quite a few travel sized products, do I save them for travel or just use them up as many are not my favourites / haven't tried the brand before, so I can take my favourite products on holidays with me next time.. To use or not to use that is the question..
I can see that my problem area is lipstick and gloss. This is mainly because of the country move however, so it's just a case of using them up really. My OH's is mascara - I end up with all her rejects!
I'll work on creating a PP list.
If you're not going to enjoy the travel sizes before you travel use them especially if you would be tempted to buy more to replace them on holiday.
Invest in some travel bottles and decant your favourites into these.
I think it's probably been easy for a lot of people to be suckered into overbuying lipsticks. I find myself looking at the colours, trying it on the back of my hand (useless!) getting home and seeing that it's very similar to others in my collection.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. VALM, Travel bottles make perfect sense, I have bought some in the past but some of the lids broke and I had trouble cleaning the bottles, as residue / scent lingered. Can anyone recommend some good brands / cleaning tips?0

I have some Ikea ones that are sturdy. Personally I think the small sized Body Shop bottles are the sturdiest out there so whenever I get Body Shop gift sets I always keep those bottles after I have used the product.
I have one UU which is the Imperial Leather Foamy Bananas shower gel. If I didn't have such a shower gel stash I would have gone out and bought another ten bottles. It smells exactly like my favourite childhood sweets!
In Boots I did buy 4 bottles of Sanex body lotion because they were 62p on the clearance shelves. I do not regret this as my skin is in a terrible state because of winter so I will get through these in no time.0 -

Thanks for the tip Hermia, I'll check out IKEA bottles. I have plenty of travel sized products so will keep the sturdy looking ones and reuse, I don't have any body shop ones though.0 -
