PPI success - Evans Card

I took an Evans card out in 1990. Was offered it in store and took it out because I could get 10% off my purchase. The store was busy and the sales lady asked me just to fill in my details, and she would do the rest.
I paid the card off and closed the account probably around 2005.
Didn't have any details of the card number etc. Rang Santander, spoke to a very nice lady and made the complaint over the phone. She had all the details. Sent me a questionnaire a few days later. Today I had a letter offering me some £3,600. Took about 2 weeks from initial phone call.
Today was a good day!
