He just told me today, that he was lying about the whole thing. And he didn't post a notice of correction at all. i hate it when people do that....

I did once have a notice of correction added, though that was 5 years into mentioned default being added.

It was added by a financial advisor cause I wanted to know if I could get a mortgage a years or two later. Was advised 'don't attempt addening a note myself' as it's all in the language used.

Either way your friends default has or is due to drop off.

If you don't mind me asking why the 0 score?

Is there more to friends credit problems?

Wait, so you've advised your friend to pay £15ish a month to get 3 nice fancy numbers and got annoyed with him because he didn't post a notice of correction on his file?

Just emailing whichever provider supplies the info would have helped.

Also, I can provide the info with a nice 3 digit number, paired with tips on how to get that number higher for £1 a month less than Experian do. The number is worth nothing, and your 'friend' would be much better to buy their actual file every year for £2, and spend £178* on something else

You seem to be a bit excited over your friends credit score. You do realise these numbers mean nothing the only people that see them is the company that generate them.

    It's credit history that counts.

Could your friend possibly have lied to stop you going on about it.
