Es parking charge

I have read the standard thread and i know the advice is not to pay but it seems appeals getsrejected anyway and more and more are going to court
My chap parked in lidl parent and child area for no more than 7 minites he had no child he was out of hospital for 5 days after having a gangrenous appendix out and had a chest infection and couldnt walk 20 yards without being out of breath.if this went to court are these mitigating circs that a judge may look kindly on ? Is it worth appealing as they would appear to get rejected anyway ? The notice includes a pic of my chap but not the car they have not proved the offence but presumably have the pics. They also missed a letter out of the christian name. I dont want to pay them but i dont want to lose any court case
Any advice please ?

if you are deciding that you are not paying , then the advice si simple

in the first instance , ALWAYS APPEAL to the PPC

its after that initial appeal you decide if its going to go further or be in ignore mode for 6 years, unless court papers arrive

those are your choices, but the initial first appeal should ALWAYS be attempted, even if its only a paper exercise

you should never IGNORE this crucial first stage , but after that its your choice based oin what that NEWBIES thread tells you , so you can make your own mind up

if you are looking for a "magic bullet" , an easy solution , there isnt one , unless you can get a written cancellation from the PPC after complaining to the landholder (this is ALWAYS the best solution anyway)
