Experiences of directline when making a third party claim

    While I'm certain the claims management company are out to make as much as they can from people's misfortune, I doubt they'd waste too much time on a case they didn't think they could win.
    While it would have been nice to sort it more amicably and cost effectively, sadly the third party has obstructed that every step of the way.
    He could have just admitted liability and his insurance could have just paid for my repairs.
    Now it looks like he'll be facing a conviction with points on his licence and a fine and his insurance company will have to cover the cost of the claims management company in addition to repairs.

    Do not hold your breath on him being convicted, I would be very surprised if the police take any action
