There really isn't much you can do as laptop speakers are pretty crap and onboard sound never really produces a good clear defined output. There's certainly nothing you can do to enhance the bass end.
If you go to View, Enhancements, SRS WOW Effects, that can make a bit of difference but you're better off using headphones or plugging in some speakers.0 -
You could get an external Creative NX USB soundcard for about £20 from Ebay, then get some decent speakers.
Software tweaks wont make much difference if the onboard sound is naff.0 -
Can you get wireless speakers then? 'cos don't want to be sat here more wired up than I already am with the laptop?!! I'll do myself a fatal injury when I get up to make a cuppa else!!:rotfl:Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle. :A0

If you go to any BP petrol station at the moment, you can buy an FM Transmitter for £4.99, it takes two AAA batteries (included in the box!) and then you just plug it into your computer's sound output, switch on the transmitter and tune your stereo system (or any FM radio) to somewhere around 107 Mhz and your computer plays thru that. I bought one yesterday and their brilliant.

I bought 3.5 mm stereo jack plug to 2x phono(RCA) plug, for £1.70 on ebay, and connected laptop hedphone outlet to stereo system works a treat.More0

Glad to have been a help to you.
As this forum seems to be about money making, perhaps it might be an idea to buy a dozen, hang on to them for a month or so then flog them on e-bay for a tenner just in time for Christmas!0
