Received county court claim form

Hi guys

After some help/advice. I had a parking charge notice from ParkingEye which I appealed through them which failed. We ignored the appeal for POPLA very stupidly. We have now recieved a county court claim form to fill out.

The ticket was issued from a pub car park which was owned by this company. I went into the pub and nowhere else. If a patron of the pub you do not have to pay parking charges. I have people who can witness that I was at the pub the whole time.
What should I do as I feel this is unfair as I was a patron. Have I got a leg to stand on?

Thanks in advance

NOBODY can tell you if you "have a leg to stand on", there are no guarantees in these court cases , its a lottery depending on many factors and the judge you get on the day

BARRY BEAVIS thought he had "a leg to stand on" and lost 3 times in 3 courts before 11 judges

anyone who tells you if you can win or not is a fool , and only a fool would listen

if you find out all the facts required for your case, like landowner contracts , signage , check POFA2012, check the BPA CoP, and put together a decent defence then maybe , just maybe, you may have "a leg to stand on". but without seeing your actual defence, the signs , the contracts etc , NOBODY would have a clue on how to answer you

a landowner or landlord witness statement on your behalf would go a long way to helping your case

so in short, we see this stupid phrase on here a lot, and there is no simple answer, each case is different , each case is bespoke , we have seen winners lose and losers win

all you can do is roll the dice and see , but the more research and the better your defence is, then the more chance you have of winning , but BEAVIS thought so, and lost 16 months ago, in the Supreme Court

so yes you can ask for help and be pointed in the right direction, but free legal advice ? I think not , because even a qualified lawyer would not answer you

the judge`s decision however, will be based on legal grounds, not "fairness"
