Hi,
I appealed to Lidil for help using the customer service email. I haven't heard back from the CEO - I emailed him on Tuesday. Here's the customer service response I got:
Re: Parking Charge
Thank you for contacting us regarding the above.
The most efficient way to appeal your parking charge is to do so with the Car Park Management company direct. Details of how to do this will be on the parking charge notice you have received. If you still wish for us to do this on your behalf, we kindly request the following:
· Permission to pass your details to our Car Park Management Company for appeal*
* In order to quickly resolve your request, we would like to pass your details to our Car Park Management Company so they can get in touch with you directly regarding your appeal. As the company who manage our car park, they will be able to assist you further with this. For Data Protection reasons, we need your permission to do this. Please let us know if you agree with the transfer of your details?
Please send these details direct to the address below, quoting your reference or reply directly to this email (without deleting the subject line):
Customer Service Department
Lidl UK
Tailend Farm
Deans Road

We hope that this matter is brought to a speedy and efficient conclusion. Thank you for taking the time to contact us.
Yours sincerely,
For and on behalf of Lidl UK GmbH
I thought it's best not to pass on our details? Are they offering to help me or passing me over to Athena? I don't know what to do.
Details removed.
Kind regards

Delete your last paragraph. You should never reveal who was driving. Only ever refer to The Driver and The Keeper.
Do this now.
After you have doen that, send the IPC template from the NEWBIES thread, then write back to the CEO saying you give him/her permission to cancel this ticket or you and your family will immediately become ex customers.
Then leave negative feedback on their social media sites.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Thanks!
Unfortunately I used a letter from this forum to email and already said I was driving. Should I email Lidl again without my information?
EDIT: Just read the IPC part you added. So I'll send that to Athena? I'll email the CEO again without my information.0 -

Yes, send the IPC template to Athena, and just tell the CEO you are not appealing. You want the CEO of Lidl, as principle (the people who hired the scammers) to cancel the ticket or you and your family will never spend money in Lidl again. Point out that the private parking industry is unregulated, and the IPC does not have a fair appeals system as it does not comply with the Alternative Dispute Regulations Act 2015. In other words, the scammers operate outside the will of parliament.
Did you send a copy of your till recipt or a redacted bank/CC statement to show you were genuine shoppers? If not, add that when you complain again.
Remember, other supermarkets are available.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
