What is the best iPhone data eraser?

I am due to sell my iPhone 4s, and upgrade it to a second hand 6s. I would like to ensure all my data (browser history, emails, texts, phone calls, passwords, debit card numbers) are permanently deleted, and have been looking at data cleaners.
Does anyone have any recommendations? I have been reading the reviews but most of them just look like advertisements and don't really compare the different products, so I am none the wiser. I am looking for something easy to use (I'm technologically challenged!) and very thorough.
Thanks in advance.

That doesn't truly get rid of the data though, it can be recovered.0

I don't know about the earlier models and firmware, but from at least the iPhone 5 and (I guess iOS 8 or 9), when you set a PIN or password on an iPhone it encrypted the data. Erasing the data as Livelongandprosper said, should render the phone clean.
The later iPhones do a significantly better job of security, but ask Apple they are very helpful (via on line chat).0 -
As above, if you've got IOS 8 or above the memory is encrypted which means no-one can access the data without the PIN code. When the device is wiped, the decryption key is wiped which means the data cannot be decrypted.

As per my previous post, iOS encryption is more than enough to secure an iPhone. There is secure erase already built in to iOS, no need to mess with 3rd party software - which may be spying software to uplift your data.
Read the Apple white paper on iOS 10 security then compare it with utilities from a Google search and make your own decision on which to trust:

Apple has security designed in natively.
To reset your iPhone or iPad go to Settings > General > Reset and then select Erase All Content and Settings.
When selling an iPhone or iPad, it's absolutely vital that you delete all the sensitive data stored on it. If not, an unscrupulous buyer could gain access to your social media profiles, your financial information and even your personal photos and videos, enabling them to browse through your private moments or steal your identity.
Luckily it's very easy to completely wipe an iPad or iPhone. Simply follow the steps in this tutorial and your data security will be assured.
