Being charged for Gallery Plus

I've just relisted an item that hasn't sold. The only thing I changed was the price, bringing it down in price. I have noticed that I have been charged £2.50 for Gallery Plus picture. It's always been free before so not sure why the change.

Is there any way I can get the charge taken off and the Gallery Plus removed?

I have been caught out with this myself when this option has somehow enabled itself by default - happens I think on about 1 out of 20 listings where this is ticked automatically.

I have got onto Ebay Live Chat to have the charge removed. They will tell you the removal is a one-off but as there is clearly a bug somewhere on Ebay where this is ticked by default, they've removed it for me a few times.

Yes I've had this too - luckily I did notice the charge before I submitted the listing, but there was no way of unticking it - it just kept reverting to the £2.50 charge.
I had to do a new listing from scratch rather than "re listing" the item, and that was OK.
    Annoying though.

Thanks for the replies. I'm not sure if it's because I changed the category before it ended and then relisted it in the new category. If it doesn't sell this time I'll try again but won't submit if it tries to charge me.

It's because you changed the category. The gallery plus box is just below the photos and is automatically ticked in some catagories, you need to make sure it's unticked. It usually pops up ticked in the clothes section.
