    No worries. For the wiring, I followed blackshirtuk's diagram. The power source was from the existing switch. That socket doesn't work, so I've disconnected it and downgraded the fuse from 16A to 5A.

    There are many garden solar lights available. Very cheap, no wiring required, no electrical certificate required, and you can take them with you when you move.

    Thanks Annie. I do plan to place solar lights around the garden, because it's pretty large size, but this triple switch is just for the wall lights.

    Can you recommend any solar lights which are bright and don't cost a huge amount of money?
