Probably ringing you to try and get you to pay up before they discontinue. Don't answer, don't respond to them in any way. Just sit tight and see what they do next.

Yes you can use that, as Lamilad says, just put it in the first person and in letter format or email format back to the ICO.

You need to tell them they are wrong, and I wrote those words so you could use them. I expect the ICO to fob you off again, sadly, but that's not a reason not to point out the complete rubbish they've said to you, which is plain untrue.

Sorry last one before I send this - does it matter that I am quoting Excels documents in 2015 when the alleged offence happened in 2013?

Excels documents in 2013 didnt use POFA, either, to my knowledge.
