BA Miles & Travelex

I am a BA exec member and we are offered good travelex rates and get BA miles on the transaction, so off I went to the link thru the BA site to the Travelex site and got a far worse rate than the normal online rate from that offered to non BA link users... but of course on this link there is no place to put in your BA number to claim the miles.
What does anyone else think, they are lowering the rate to give the miles!!! Is this right??
Have sent them an email lets see what they say..

Yes it is right. Choices are commission free, better rate, no miles with Travelex or commission free, normal rate and airmiles with BA.
Contact customerservices@travelex.com about your missing miles and they should be able to sort it out.Lightbulb moment Dec 2005 - debt £23700
June 2010 - £17984.210 -
Use this link HERE and you will get the same rate as per the normal Travelex site and there is a box for you to enter your BA Exec number. I used a few weeks ago on the way to SA and miles have appeared on account.
Just checked todays £ / $ rate and both sites were at $1.96 (ish).

just tested
bertie's site 1.9601
https://www.travelex.co.uk/ba/MoneyNet.asp 1.9229 !!!
Travelex usual site 1.9670
tesco ( also travelex run ) 1.9573
although if using a tesco credit card on tesco site, they are classing it as purchase rather than cash advance , so potential interest free period
and no advance fee
