Switching from Halifax, will I have to return the £100?

Hello
I switched to Halifax in September last year, and received the £100 bonus. I am planning to switch away to another bank, but I have been told that I will have to pay back the £100 if I switch away within a year. I cannot find anything in the T&C's indicating this, so can someone confirm whether this is true?

My branch told me that I'd have to wait until 18 months from the account opening until I could keep the £100, but Halifax phone support told me that there was no such waiting requirement0

Well, this just proves once again that one can never rely on anything the CS say and has always rely on the T&C instead.
If the T&C say nothing about paying the bonus back, then they can't take it back. What's the point in asking here for a confirmation?0 -
No such requirements, you can switch back out as soon as you get the £100 im sure this happens all of the time...
