confused about ppi claim

Options
I took out a credit card powered by egg in 2002 which I had few a few years. I have the original card still but obviously egg have closed now and I dont know who to contact to claim back the ppi. I also had a loan with egg that I had potentionally when the card stopped which closed around 2005 or 2006. I have no idea how to claim for this and wanted some advice on where to start or if im even intitled? Many thanks

Depending on when the credit card was closed it is either Barclaycard or Canada Square (Citibank) - if it was closed before 2011 (not clear from your post if you mean the card or loan was closed in 2005-6) then it goes to Citibank

The egg loan goes to Citibank

Nobody is entitled to anything. You need to establish if you had PPI (it would be on all your credit card statements when you didn't pay the card off in full each month) then establish complaint reasons

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
