I found it very odd that I couldn't see the details of a SO that I had set up previously. So I sent this and their reply follows:
"Yesterday I wanted to check the details, sort code and account number, of a standing order I have on my current account. I was amazed to find that these details weren't available whatever I tried. So I had to cancel it and do it again, just to be sure that my money was going to the right place. This time I put a reference on it to identify it in future. I found it very strange."
"Thank you for your message regarding the Standing Order on your account.
I can confirm that you are not currently able to view the account number and sort code of the recipients on your online banking.
If you do wish to view any details in the future please contact us on the telephone number below and we will happily advise you.
Here at M&S Bank we are continually striving to improve the service that we provide and welcome all feedback.
Please be assured that I have logged your comments and concerns.
I am sorry for any inconvenience caused."
I perhaps should have referenced it when I set it up but didn't think it would be necessary!

You're right. It's very odd. If that stuff about 'striving to improve' is true then their response to your email will be to fix it, but I'll be very surprised if they do.0
