Redundancy & NI

Hi,

Will be made redundant in a few days time & will receive PILON at end of April.
I understand this is liable to tax/NI but if I receive £8800 as PILON & I don't do any further work, how much of a qualifying year will the NI that I pay (£469 based on month 1) make up?

Its above the annual primary threshold but don't think it will all count as its paid in one month?

thanks

Or more simply, is it capped at the monthly upper earnings limit so i would get 3750/5876 of a qualifying year?
