I went to Worcester last week and passed by the Lush shop.As I was in a pandering frame of mind I popped in to see what was on offer, I have never bought anything from there before and the choice is mindboggling for the beginner.

The girl in the shop asked if I was looking for anything and I told her that I had no idea what to look for.She then set to telling me of all the various products and uttered the magic words

" I will sort you out some free samples"

She fetched a bag and began filling it with little pots ,face mask, shower gel,moisturisers,cleansers-all of which were labelled by her .She also gave me a couple of soap samples ( Honey I washed the Kids is lovely) along with a square of Henna.
I left feeling very pleased and well disposed towards lush shops and products.

Not samples but I ordered 5 buffys from Lush this time last year and the post man left them by the back door in full sun, when I came home they'd all melted :( I rang Lush and said I could probably salvage 1 or 2 but the very helpful lady sent me a full replacement to a different address and she put a big sign on saying 'please don't leave in the sun' just in case. I asked if they wanted the melted ones back, they didn't and I managed to squidge them back together and got 2 mishapen ones from the left over mush :j

    :hello: Welcome banana :D

I'm going to spy out all the Lush outlets in a 30 mile radius and tell them all "Hmmm, never been here before, what should I look for?" ;):D

:T Nice one, Galtizz!! Can't beat that service.

I've been a fan of the Lush skincare & haircare range for a few years & there are a few products that I always use & so buy regularly. The staff are always friendly & helpful & if there's any product you want to try a sample of, they will happily pop it in with your shopping at no extra charge. The new year & easter is always a good time for freebies, as they get lots of limited edition stuff left over..you'll often come out with a couple of free bath bombs or bits of soap that they can't sell anymore.

Also, if you try any of tyheir skincare & you get a nasty reaction to the essential oils in that product, they'll refund your money & recommend something better ...unlike a lot of cosmetic companies who say 'once you've opened the bottle, no refund'

Yes, I admit their Customer Service is fantastic. One of a new breed of companies really thinking about their Customers, and it obviously pays dividends for them.

However, has anyone else noticed the pong... Its soooooooooo overpowering. :p
You can tell if there is a Lush in a shopping centre after 1 step inside :rotfl:
24 hours in a day. 24 beers in a case ... coincidence?

I can smell the Lush shop from the bottom of the High Street that it is situated on. Really lovely, nice on a windy day when the scent travels down the street. Better than stinking drains on a hot day for sure.

Lush is fab. One of the friendliest stores there is. They are really generous with their samples and advice. :T
