Bmw aircon not working

Eighth Anniversary
Hi guys

I have a bmw 320d and the aircon was working fine but suddenly stopped working, only blows out hot air
I thought it was the gas but i check it in quick fit and its full

I had it scanned yesterday and it says compeessor clutch not engaging

Any suggestions

I read online ane some suggested bad fuse or sensor

    Check wiring to the compressor, could be a bad contact or snapped wire. You could run a 12v supply to it when engine is running to see if it engages, if it does then could be a pressure sensor or quickfault didn't find the fault.

    Had this symptom on a Renault, it was the pressure sensor.
