Lender proof of earnings for DPNI scheme

My situation is that I work for an overseas company with no UK presence, and therefore pay PAYE directly from my own account. For this purpose HMRC have set me up in the DPNI scheme, which creates an employer on their records purely for reporting PAYE. However since I pay PAYE directly, I'm informed lenders will see me as self-employed and will therefore require an SA302 form to confirm my earnings. HMRC inform me however that they cannot provide an SA302 for my case since I am not strictly part of their Self-Assessment programme, but can instead offer a HMRC headed letter confirming the same details. Will lenders be flexible on this matter or are they likely to shy away from anything that doesn't fit their expectations? My concern is that my financial details provided to get a Decision In Principle are perfectly accurate, which would be enough for Sellers to take my reservation fee, but Lenders' true assessment of my case won't be put to the test until after this.

Does anybody have any such experience with this? Thanks for any advice!
