Lloyds phone insurance

Options
Hello

Does anyone know when Lloyds started to put mobile phone insurance on their packages? I am currently in an argument with Policy Admin Services (phones 4 u) insurance and they have said if we can prove that we had alternative insurance in place then they will give us a 'goodwill gesture'.

I phoned Lloyds to ask them and they said they would be in touch but that was over a week ago.....

Thanks!

Laura

It shouldn't matter. Simply provide evidence of the start date of your insurance and they will do the calculations.

Did you register your phone (if you had to?) that would also help prove duplicate cover

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

No, unfortunately I didn't register the phone. I didn't even think about mobile phone cover at the time. I wasn't even aware I had signed up for mobile phone insurance with phones 4 u. Thanks for that though!

This means that the 'phone was not covered by Lloyds scheme, so you didn't have dual cover...
