I haven't updated in a few days.
Been busy though.
We had a quiet weekend which was nice. No car boot selling due to the wedding/football, so just did a bit of decluttering at home. DH took a load of stuff to the recycling centre so that's all gone.
Sunday we went to have a look around the boot sale. Bought both kids some shorts and little miss a swimming costume. She keeps asking for swimming lessons so I need to look into that.
We had a lot of good sales at the weekend, so that's all been posted now :T 20 parcels I think.
Work is quite hectic and I've got a lot I need to finish before I'm off next week. Not managing well, especially as I got called to collect little jwil today as he'd fallen over. He's absolutely fine, so I'm a bit annoyed. He can be a bit of a drama llama though so I'm not surprised they called.
Oh well, I shall try and get a few things done instead!
I've been a bit spendy with my ebay sale money this week. I needed a couple of bits of clothing (clothing is generally a need rather than a want as I tend to wear them to rags!) and have ordered a load of new packaging as we were running out. I've then also bought the new Stephen King book which has arrived today  Looking forward to getting stuck into that later
My car insurance payment should be coming out tomorrow, and I need to pay for the holiday club, so after that I should be able to see whether I've got any spare cash for padding. I am looking forward to a full wage again next week!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Holiday club and car insurance all paid up so I know what I've got left now. It's going to be a long week til payday :rotfl:
Better try and do some cashing in if I can.
In good news, my biggest debt has been sold again :T :T It's the second time it's been sold now so I'm hoping it bodes well once I've got some money for a F&F. I'd dearly love to clear this one."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
That bodes very well as they pay less and less for it each time, so a nice low offer should work in the future : DFinally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Received child benefit today, I forgot that was due, so that will tide me over nicely til payday :T
I'm on leave for a week after today :T Got a lot to do first though. The weather is looking pretty rubbish for the week, so that's a shameWe were hoping to sell at the car boot tomorrow, but not sure if we will be able to.
I'm going to go into town and find some trainers. I've decided I've had enough of being unfit, and so have started Couch to 5K. I completed week 1 yesterday :T and have noticed a difference. I have been walking and walking fast rather than running, as it's a bit much at my size, but I did actually manage to run a couple of times yesterday :j I'm not going to spend a fortune until I know I'll stick at it, so just going to see what's about. I could do with something a bit more cushioned than my walking shoes."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Well done on the running, particularly given everything else that is going on. Yes think weather not great for the weekend...maybe give it a miss? Put your feet up instead0
