Used Car Dealer Issue or my Issue

Hi,
Help needed please, I purchased a 2007 Mercedes e320 back in October 2015 on finance, within two weeks I reported to the dealer that the car kept stalling and seemed to be missing gear as it slowed down. In between the car had developed a few other faults, the dealer had the car for a week and couldn't find anything wrong, It was a further 7 weeks before it went back to the dealer this time with proof of the stalling as I had it on dash cam. The dealer had it for a full week and said he could find nothing again. Two weeks later the car went back this time for 10 days as the glow plugs had a fault and he had to get a specialist to remove them! Two months later I had an independent garage remove the plugs as the fault had come back, they advised they where not new glow plugs. The car juddered to a sudden halt last week and is now stuck in gear, I have had it into an independent garage who have advised it needs a new Tourqe Converter and ECU reprogramme costing £3500. I still have the footage from previous breakdowns, do I have any chance with getting the garage to repair this as the fault was existing,The car has only covered just 9000 miles since I have had it. Thanks

It's a ten year old motor so wear and tear has to be factored in. You have covered 9000 miles in it so the fault wasn't there when you got it.
You also don't say what the overall mileage is but I bet its a lot on a ten year old car.
You will struggle with this so the best thing to do is get the finance co involved, but don't hold your breath.0 -
Thanks brls. The car did have the problem when I bought it and it was returned to the dealer to fix the issue on three separate occasions!0
